Welcome

All you have to do is look into the crowd when Steve Eales is performing and you will soon find out why his songs are huge hits.

Girls are sitting on the shoulders of their boyfriends. Mates are hanging together with drinks in their hands. And girls are at the front of the stage dancing to the driving country rock being performed by Steve and the band.

Suddenly you hear “Girls On Horses!!!!!” screamed out by a group of girls with such an enthusiasm that it is contagious.

And you see the crowd push to the front of the stage and sing along to every word of the hit single.

Steve ”Ealsey” Eales has been headlining some of Australia’s biggest ute musters, country B&S balls, rodeos and country music festivals across the country for years.

As the lead vocalist for the award winning country group, SOVEREIGN, Steve’s distinctive vocals lead the band to great success with hit singles Tooraweenah Girl and It’s My Town.

When SOVEREIGN band members went their separate ways, Steve Eales continued on his country music journey releasing his debut solo album The Battler in 2007.

The Battler won Steve the prestigious Peoples Choice Album of the Year 2008 at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. With songs like When a Cowboy Gets the Blues, Brave and Girls on Horses there is no trouble understanding why. Drawing on many of his own personal experiences of good times, personal struggles and love gone wrong, Steve penned every track on the album.

Now with a brand new album This Is The Life, Ealesy charms the crowd again with brand new tracks including the first single, This Is The Life, Echuca Sun, Stand In Line and Skin Contact.

Just like THE BATTLER, all the songs on THIS IS THE LIFE are Steve’s own compositions and bring out tales from his own life and observations. The brand new album encompasses the blend of outback and beach life that makes up our unique culture and is very personal to Steve’s own experience.

“This is the album I always wanted to make,” says Steve, “It’s got all the elements that I enjoy in an album. It is true Aussie Country and it really rocks.”

The new album is as diverse in its musical content as the previous one, maybe more so with everything from an old time crooner influenced by an old Bing Crosby movie, to country rock that Keith Urban would be proud of, and all with Steve’s distinctive vocal quality and true blue lyrics.

Already a familiar face on Foxtel’s Country Music Channel, Steve Eales is taking Aussie country music to a new exciting level.

Winner of the 2004 Male Vocalist of the Year at the Victorian and National Country Music Awards.

Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards Best Album award winner 2008.
